The Smart Aid Series brings together practitioners and MCC experts to share best practices and lessons learned to more effectively drive development forward.

As part of MCC’s 2008 compact with Burkina Faso, MCC and other partners worked together on the Burkinabé Response to Improve Girls’ Chances to Success (BRIGHT) Project.

A recent 10–year impact evaluation of the project conducted by Mathematica Policy Research has found impressive lasting results for girls’ education.

In recognition of Day of the Girl Child, MCC invites you to join us for a Smart Aid event and discussion on the evaluation results with Mathematica Policy Research and Plan International USA.

Panelists will include:

  • Ryan Moore, Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Department of Policy and Evaluation, MCC
  • Matt Sloan, Senior Research and Area Leader, International Research Division, Mathematica Policy Research
  • Justin Fugle, Senior Advisor, Policy and Program Outreach, Plan International USA

Moderated by Casey Dunning, Director, Results and Learning, Department of Policy and Evaluation, MCC.
