Clean Water for a Sustainable Future in Jordan

The As-Samra Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion in Jordan increased the plant’s capacity to produce much-needed treated water, freeing up fresh water for household use.

The project­­—part of MCC’s Compact with Jordan—was financed through an innovative public-private partnership, which paired MCC’s investment with funds from the Jordan Government and the private sector.
