High-Value Crops in Moldova Through Modern Irrigation

MCC’s compact funded the rehabilitation of 10 pumping stations to improve the quantity and quality of irrigation water for more than 37,000 acres. It also expanded access to agricultural loans to help farmers invest in their farms, worked with the Government of Moldova to improve key agricultural policies, and helped Moldovan producers better market their products to regional and overseas markets.
