Impact Evaluation Framework
In addition to carefully monitoring implementation performance and measurement of preliminary results, MCC also funds independent evaluations to assess the impact of MCC’s investments on the target beneficiary groups, and seeks to measure impacts that can be attributed specifically to MCC-funded activities. More information will be available in the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan and in MCC’s Impact Evaluations.

It sought to establish a public school system-wide operations and maintenance program to ensure the sustainability of MCC’s investment in Georgian schools. The Training Educators for Excellence Activity aimed to: (1) improve math, science, geography, information and communication technology, and English teaching and learning in grades 7-12; (2) improve school management; and (3) implement a school-based professional development facilitator system. Training included a gender module designed to reduce teacher gender bias in the classroom. The Education Assessment Support Activity contributed to data-driven decision making in the education sector by financing education assessments at the national and international levels. National assessments in STEM subjects and English aims to help policymakers verify national results.
